They are the only mob in The End aside from the Ender Dragon. The main function of the Enderman is to introduce mischievous chaos.
Endermen move blocks , including blocks that players have placed. It is not uncommon to find various parts of player buildings that have been removed and placed elsewhere. When killed, Endermen have a high chance of dropping an Ender Pearl , which is an essential ingredient in locating the end portal which you use the Eye of Ender for, and can also be used for teleporting.
