Jackson McKenzie. Jackson oozes sex appeal and intrigue. Girls surround him wanting to be the next girl he charms into bed. He either is playing in his band or being the college Casanova. Verified Purchase. Good girl meets bad boy is always a favorite of mine and I can add this book to my list. Riley is a good girl who is running from a tragic past and ends up living with the campus manwhore, Jackson. Every girl wants to tame Jackson, but will Riley succeed where so many other girls have failed? Or will Riley's past rip her away from her future? Possible Spoilers: This is similar to one of my all time favorite books, Beautiful Disaster.
I loved the connection between Riley aka Kitten and Jackson, but of course there are moments where I wanted to smack Jackson with a brick. I absolutely adored Kendra and her friendship with Riley. I must say I felt so bad for Kevin and it was so beautiful the way Riley helped him. Sucked in from the very beginning and held there till the very last word, what more could a reader want? I am so glad that I found this author.
Jenna's writing is fresh and unique. Every book is different but still has the ability to hook you and Living With Him was no exception.
I loved getting lost withing the pages of this story, Jackson and Riley are very different, polar opposites but you know the saying opposites attract She is your typical good girl, never been in trouble, doesn't drink, works hard at school and keeps herself to herself.
After recent events it all becomes to much and she has no option but to run. Calling her best friend, she is given a life line. Moving in with Jackson is completely out of her comfort zone yet its the only option. Jackson has no shortage of women, they seem to gravitate towards him. Playing in a band and also his reputation around school only help him bag his next conquest. When he agrees to have Riley move in with him, he doesn't realise exactly what he is letting himself in for.
Suddenly the way others see him matter, the way She sees him matters. They definitely have a connection from the very start Jackson knows he cant push her to hard or he will loose her forever.
Jackson want to be a better man and prove to Riley he is the right choice, even when he knows she deserves better. Riley hates to see the way he is with girls, yet when its just them he is different. He is charming and affectionate towards her. Protective when it matters and he offers her the safe haven she has been searching for. They bring out the best of one another. Jackson becomes a man who is so raw and passionate he will make you swoon and Riley learns to shine, she is endearing and strong.
There relationship was some what slow burning, yes there were sparks fro the very beginning but it took time for the flames to ignite and once they did there were fireworks!!!
One person found this helpful. Oh Jenna, Jenna, Jenna With every book I think wow okay this Author can't blow my mind more but then she brings out a new book and I'm floored!!!!!
When you meet Jackson you'll want a Jackson in your life I can promise you that!!! He's the most loyal and loving guy if he cares about you!!! If you are in his circle you are there for life!!! Then Raven She hasn't had a very good life and ends up living with Jackson but she has so much trust issues!! But with all of that she's still this amazing girl she just doesn't know to act towards everyone!!! Can he heal her??? Can he teach her that love will survive everything??? This book was hot and funny and had me captivated from the start!!
I just couldn't get enough of it!!! Good job well done once again J. Such an epic love story! I love when the good girls tame the bad boys!
The only thing I wish for in this book is a little more future telling! I would love to know how Riley spent her money and what came of the house. Also how the band did. Also what their after college profession ended up being.
But it was still an amazing book regardless and definitely worth 5 stars! L Ostle just keeps getting better!! Jackson is your college bad boy , rocker and man whore.
No one could till Riley aka Kitten became his roommate. Riley has had a hard time no where else to go she moves in with Jackson. She starts loving life while Jackson slowly starts falling for Riley. Can't wait for the next book from J. L Ostle. It just keeps getting better. I loved this book, JL Ostle's writing just gets better with every book she releases.
I would never hesitate to recommend any of JL Ostle's books. I freaking loved this book. I think Jackson is my second favorite hero from J. Ostle first being Dom. He's such a sweetie to Riley and I love how their relationship started, I can honestly say I've only read maybe two other books that started with the guy similar to Jackson so it made me happy that it was something new.

This is a great excuse to post one of my favourite scenes ever, from Gone with the Wind. Personally, I think most readers are too savvy to be misled. I think most of us know the difference.

12 of the Most Irresistible Bad Boys and Girls in YA
Nice guys are well, nice, but sometimes we want a little more spice. Enter the notorious bad boy—the dude we shouldn't want, but who nevertheless gets our hearts racing and our blood pumping. As it turns out, the tall, dark and dangerous types are just as irresistible on the page as they are off of it. For your own naughty bit of fun without the risk of falling off a motorcycle! Can we just take a second to appreciate the befitting title of Lora Leigh's scintillating series, The Men of Summer? Zack Richards is a hard-bodied alpha male with a checkered past and devotion to protecting Grace Maddox from her own power-hungry family. Think Romancing the Stone without the stone. His name is Slade, and that single syllable perfectly reflects his bad boy reputation.

Taylor Carmichael is trying to leave her past behind. I laughed the whole time I wrote this book. Of course this story has all the elements we Harlequin Presents addicts love — the strong alpha hero, the glamour and emotional intensity all played out against the background of the stunning, beautiful Mediterranean island of Sicily, but what I loved most about this book was the way Luca protected Taylor. I love him.SEE VIDEO BY TOPIC: GOOD GIRL/BAD BOY BOOK RECS!

A young man falls in love with a woman who toys with his affection. He can't let go, and she can't settle into love. A simple story, beautifully told by one of the living masters of fiction. A little slight, perhaps, for a writer whose work deserves a Nobel Prize , but it wouldn't be the first time Vargas Llosa had written simply to amuse and delight. Even before the beguiling begins to reveal its guile, reading "The Bad Girl" is, as they say in Vargas Llosa's Latin America, vale la pena -- worth the pain. It draws you forward with the same combination of allure and dread that the good man who tells the tale feels toward the bad girl of the title. The good boy, Ricardo Somocurcio, and the bad girl, who goes by many names, trace nothing less than the history of the second half of the 20th Century in the West.
Mikey and Margolo are best friends, and both want to know about love-relationships-sex. However, neither get invited to parties, where these things are best learned about. Relying on hearsay from Bad Girls in Love.
